Woolie's Santa Sheep
Woolie the Sheep Poem Four
Woolie is looking out, of her window pane,
It is very cold, looks like some rain.
But what is that, daddy please come see,
It's white and floating, what can it be.
Daddy tells little Woolie, it is a snowflake,
If we gets lots, snow sheep we'll make.
Woolie gets in bed, Daddy kisses her goodnight,
She looks out upon, a cold winters night.
Long after bed time, the flakes did drop,
So pure and white, kept falling, didn't stop.
Daddy is now worried, it is getting deep,
Not good for feet, when you're a sheep.
Woolie wakes in morning, to a white landscape,
Gets in warm clothes, snow sheep to make.
Down she does go, and opens the door,
Snow is so white, can't see the floor.
Daddy helps Woolie make, a lovely snow sheep,
Explains then to Woolie, fell whilst was asleep.
If snow doesn't stop, Barker's we cant go,
Would get ourselves trapped, because of the snow.
Now Woolie was sad, she wanted to go,
Barker is her friend, as you all know.
He's having a party, and Woolie was invited,
She will now miss, she was all excited.
Snow keeps on falling, all through the day,
The bad new told, at home they stay.
She calls her friend, to explain about snow,
Barker tells dear Woolie, It's sad cant go.
But Daddy and Barker, agree it is bad,
They should stay home, and not be sad.
Snow will soon go, then you can stay,
So wrap up warm, and enjoy your day.
So Woolie the sheep, upset she cant go,
Still has some fun, playing in the snow.
When night does come, so quick to sleep,
Deep in her dreams, with her snow sheep.
