Woolie's Play Day
Woolie the Sheep Poem Three
It's another great day, with woolie the sheep,
Her friend Barker's coming, not seen for week.
She gets herself dressed, and in warm clothes,
Eats a hot breakfast, puts socks on her toes.
Barker is a sheepdog, best friend you see,
He is so great, lets her run free.
Play in the field, and in the pen,
Back in the yard, or free on the fen.
Today they will have, so much great fun,
Starting with some jumps, before a nice run.
Barker is so lovely, knows what to do,
He really does care, he adores her too.
As they play together, game of hide seek,
Woolie get too comfy, then falls right asleep.
Barker looked everywhere, then heard her snore,
Behind the farm shed, fast asleep on floor.
Woolie is very tired, so Barker does say,
You go get sleep, and I will stay.
Daddy tucks her in, say's love you goodnight,
With Barker curled up, in his basket tonight.
