And in the present, you do not pry.
Trust in the soldier, to do what’s right,
And in the sun, to shine so bright.
Trust in the rain, keep us from drought,
And in your self, to avoidance of doubt.
Trust in the light, keep us from dark,
And in the dog, at intruder to bark.
Trust in a worker, to get it right,
And in the moon, to shine at night.
Trust in your partner, as they do same,
And in the doctor, to remove the pain.
Trust in the chair, to hold your weight,
And in the draw, at the local fete.
Trust in the weather, not to be cold,
And in your life, till you are old.
Trust in the night, to follow the day,
And in your job, you wish to stay.
Trust in your mind, to keep working well,
And in your heart, as it will swell.
