This is just not, where humanity does belong.
Lights flicker in distance, red glow from afar,
The streets so alien, we hide behind car.
The people that run, pushing left and right,
No chance for most, to survive this fight.
Loud noise in distance, the smell so strong,
The landscape is charred, this must be wrong.
Can any one person, survive the poison air,
The screams of pain, come from out there.
As lights flicker again, and out they fade,
Unable to see all, the horror that’s made.
This world is charred, and poisoned to hell,
No one in charge, no one to tell.
The problem now eternal, it can never leave,
No way to return, from toxins we breathe.
Salvation will not come, for us too late,
The people in control, they sealed our fate.
And of their choice, the plans did break,
The earth in ruins, was their biggest mistake.
All plans we made, now forgotten in dust,
The world does burn, we lose all trust.
We aim once more, to survive till dawn,
The struggle we face, minds and bodies torn.
The poison so slow, the weeks to come,
So many will perish, hope you’re not one.
The wreckage of life, from young and old,
The planet does boil, the reality now sold.
All the greatest nations, did fall this day,
Was it then foretold, to be this way.
The weapon we had, was to be deterrent,
Yet pain and suffering, whole planet is inherent.
When we cast vote, we chose our doom,
To choose no life, to die in gloom.
Oh why so blind, do we follow masses,
Leave those in power, turned world to ashes.
